About the Authors

 

Jason S. Samuels is a partner in the firm’s commercial litigation department, concentrating in construction law.  He represents contractors, owners and developers in all aspects of construction, including negotiation of large scale new construction and renovation project agreements.

Mr. Samuels earned his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Albany.

 

 

 

Domenique Camacho MoranDomenique Camacho Moran is a labor and employment law partner. She advises clients on all employment-related matters including wage and hour compliance, leaves of absence and social media in the workplace and defends employers in litigation involving discrimination, harassment, ERISA, wage and hour, and restrictive covenants.

Ms. Moran earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

 

 

Aaron Zerykier

Aaron E. Zerykier is a partner in the firm’s commercial litigation department.

Mr. Zerykier represents large and small businesses, public entities, financial institutions and individuals in federal and state trial courts, as well as in arbitrations.  These matters involve a variety of commercial, technology, real estate, insurance, contracts and business tort litigations.  He represents developers and landowners in connection with real estate disputes, including sale/leaseback disputes and environmental cleanup actions.

Mr. Zerykier earned his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Yeshiva University.

 

Racanelli-DDamian Racanelli concentrates his practice in real estate law and construction law. With an extensive background in general contracting and commercial real estate, Damian prepares agreements for commercial real estate transactions, assists with contract term negotiations, drafts purchase and sale agreements, drafts and reviews leasing agreements, and conducts legal research and analysis.

 

 

 

 

Jay Sawczak is works in Farrell Fritz’s commercial litigation practice group. He concentrates his practice in construction law. Jay assists contractors with due diligence, as well as collections, wrongful termination and improper denial of claims.  In addition, Jay assists owners and developers, focusing on proper administration of the contract coupled with ensuring contractors deliver what is purchased from them in terms of labor and materials.

Mr. Sawczak earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School and his B.S. from the University of Vermont.

 

 

Irene ZoupaniotisIrene A. Zoupaniotis is an associate concentrating in labor & employment law. She assists in the representation of employers in all aspects of litigation, arbitration and mediation.

Ms. Zoupaniotis earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Columbia Law School. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the William E. Macaulay Honors College at Queens College.
